Thom Corbishley (b. 1995) is a photographer, writer and film maker from Cambridge, based in London. A keen photographer since his early teens, Thom uses lens-based practices to examine and investigate ideas of Britishness and English culture. Thom draws on his educational background in history and politics, as well as his personal experience to create work that carries a social conscience. The exhibition is a major touring retrospective of British social documentary photography from the 1960s until its departure from the European Union. The exhibition was curated by Ralph Goertz of the Instut für Kunstdokumentation.
